Bonsai Kitten
A quick entry before class in 20 minutes...
A friendly warning about "Bonsai Kitten". There is a little fake petition going around, trying to convince people to speak out against the practice of putting little kittens into glass jars after birth so that their bones form in the shape of the container, and you get a funny looking jar-shaped cat after a few months. Sweet, right? Actually, there's no such thing, and it's just a way of making people who sign it look like idiots. Some of the signers of this petition vow to kill the supposed maker of Bonsai Kitten, and some even suggest putting them in jars in a similar fashion. They are just so convinced and enraged; it's pretty hilarious. I wish I had a link to this petition to show everyone, put you probably could find one if you look. The site, with link above, is pretty amusing and worth a look, the FAQ's especially.

To transcend into the upper realms of blog goodness, one must first make complete assholes out of your readers. Instead of telling them it is a hoax, you get them to click your link. Then when the go nuts about how crazy it is, you call them on it. Remember that time you came running across the hall telling me about jackasses who put cats into jars? Remeber how we both had a good laugh when I told you it was all a joke? Delivery, delivery, deliver.
